Nature, Biodiversity & Environmental Quality
Support for innovative solutions that contribute to environmental protection and diversity.
Preserving biodiversity means protecting all the living species (animals, plants, insects etc.) that make up our ecosystems. Today this biodiversity is shrinking, a victim of factors such as climate change, pollution, over-exploitation and the destruction of natural habitats. Faced with such an enormous challenge, numerous groups are rallying to the cause. The King Baudouin Foundation is also acting to protect the environment and biodiversity.
Our activities
- the development of environmental and biodiversity projects
- proposing innovative solutions to philanthropists who would like to contribute to environmental protection and diversity.
Protecting the environment and biodiversity is part of the programme Climate, the environment and biodiversity
