KBF close to you
The KBF aims to increase its impact in Belgium in the coming years by strengthening its approach of local philanthropy and social engagement.
The KBF wants to contribute to improving the quality of life of local communities together with local partners. Therefore, the Foundation aims to be a lever for positive change within these local communities. Internally, we strive for new synergies to stimulate new projects in all the domains in which we are active. Additionally, we want to strengthen the capacity of these local communities for social innovation with local partners. In this way, we aim to contribute to sustainable and inclusive regional development.
To this end, the KBF is developing a network of philanthropic hubs and local contact points throughout the country.
The intention is for the 'local' philanthropic hub to become the KBF one-stop shop serving the region:
- It stimulates, facilitates, and strengthens synergies between local actors mutually and with the KBF;
- It stimulates social innovation projects;
- It promotes and manages the philanthropic instruments of the KBF, including, if available, the Regional Fund;
- It contributes to the visibility of KBF's missions and actions, as well as their positive impact on the region and its inhabitants.
