Immovable Heritage

Safeguarding and promoting our architectural heritage.

Buildings, estates, churches and castles, to name but some; as part of the collective memory and identity of a place and its inhabitants, our architectural heritage forms part of our daily lives. The King Baudouin Foundation and the Funds it manages rally to save monuments, sites and architectural collections in Belgium and abroad. We are open to owners’ requests and needs and work with a range of people on the ground. The expertise and networks we have developed over the years enable us to react quickly and in a targeted manner.

Our activities

  • we develop and facilitate projects for the restoration of elements of our architectural heritage
  • and we facilitate donor philanthropy.

Immovable heritage is part of the programme Heritage and culture
