Supported project of Patrick Van Dormael : Recently, baseline antibodies against 3 University Hasselt (UH)-RA antigens were found to be predictive for failure to achieve response to first-line therapies in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients. In the current study, we will use the independent Belgian CAP48 patient cohort to validate the correlation between baseline antibody reactivity to UH-RA antigens and lack of therapy response, to determine additional antibody isotypes, and to study the variation in antibody levels during follow-up.
