Valerie Van Peel, Ralph Heck, and Yves Warnant join the Board of Governors of the King Baudouin Foundation
The Board of Governors of the King Baudouin Foundation welcomes three new members as of January 1, 2025. Valerie Van Peel, Ralph Heck, and Yves Warnant, elected for a four-year term, will bring their diverse expertise to support the Foundation in its growth and commitment to a better society.
Valerie Van Peel, Ralph Heck, and Yves Warnant were elected by the Board of Governors of the King Baudouin Foundation. On January 1, 2025, they succeeded Jean-Pol Boone and Karl-Heinz Lambertz, to whom the King Baudouin Foundation expresses its sincere gratitude for their dedication to the Board.
Like the many experts who volunteer in the Foundation's juries and committees, the three new governors come from various sectors:
- Valerie Van Peel is a specialist in communication and political strategy and a former member of parliament.
- Ralph Heck is the former CEO and current member of the Curatorium of the Bertelsmann Stiftung.
- Yves Warnant is an entrepreneur in the renewable energy and technology sectors, CEO, and founder of Arvest Group.

The Board of Governors of the King Baudouin Foundation consists of 14 members, including Brieuc Van Damme, CEO since 2022, and determines the strategic direction of the Foundation. The Board of Governors also holds the final responsibility for the budget and accounts. In the past twelve months, more than half of the members of the Foundation's Board of Governors have been renewed.
