This is the case with the physiology and biology of mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs)involved in the homeostasis of many tissues. We recently obtained data demonstrating that P2Y2 /6 receptors are regulators of adipogenic and osteoblastogenic differentiation of MSCs. Our current project aims to decipher the molecular mechanisms at the origin of these regulations in order to identify new treatments for pathologies such as osteoporosis dependent on hormonal deficiency or hyperthyroidism as well as obesity.
