Call for fundamental research in the field of the pathogenesis of pancreatic cancer
What is it about?
The Fund Maaike Lars Trees will support one fundamental research project into the pathogenesis of pancreatic cancer. This includes scientific disciplines such as biochemistry, physiology, immunology, molecular and cell biology, etc. and involves laboratory studies such as cell cultures, animal studies or pathophysiological experiments.
Who is it for?
The call is open to researchers working at least 50% in a Belgian academic centre, university hospital or research centre. Applicants must have obtained a doctoral degree. The lead applicant may not apply for more than one grant as lead PI but may be a co-applicant on more than one application. Collaborative projects are encouraged. Projects involving international collaboration between research teams must be initiated and coordinated by the team based in Belgium.
