Regional Fund

Participate in the development of your region.

Would you, as a group, a company or an organisation, like to support development in your region?

If so, a regional Fund will enable you to raise funds to support local organisations and/or projects in your region. This fund encourages the inhabitants of the region to invest in it. The King Baudouin Foundation would be happy to contribute to the Fund’s success by bringing to it our many years of experience and expertise.

Duration

A regional Fund is created for an unlimited period. However, when companies create a regional Fund, the duration must be for a minimum of three years. This period can obviously be extended.

How it works

A regional Fund implies that you are thinking about the long-term development of your region, together with local partners.

The Fund actively organises fundraising campaigns among individuals and businesses and takes its own decisions about how its resources will be used.

The administration of a regional Fund is in the hands of a management committee that reflects the local community and guarantees widespread support.

The King Baudouin Foundation looks after the financial management and provides administrative and methodological support.

Budget

In order to finance its own activities, the King Baudouin Foundation is authorised to deduct each year 5% of the total amount of donations received by the Fund.

Taxation

Donations of 40 euros or more transferred via the King Baudouin Foundation’s account IBAN: BE10 0000 0000 0404 – BIC: GEBABEBB to the regional Fund, are entitled to a 45% tax deduction on an amount effectively transferred and this is mentioned on the tax certificate issued by the Foundation.

"On the one hand, poor sleep leads to additional problems for patients, which also affects their caregivers, often resulting in institutionalisation. On the other hand, we wonder whether poor-quality deep sleep could worsen the disease or perhaps even contribute to its development."
