Guichet d'Economie Locale du Sud Bénin (GEL Sud Bénin)

Since 2019, GEL South Benin has been accompanying women in Mono (South West Benin) who process and market cassava derivatives. They are organized and structured in cooperatives to pool their strengths and skills.

Together with Louvain Coopération and financed by the AJF Foundation, GEL Sud Bénin has developed a project to support literacy and vocational training for women cassava processors organized in cooperatives, known as the ALPHA Project.

This support helps the women of 6 cooperatives in terms of organization, management, governance, management and product marketing (product quality, marketing, commercial negotiation and contracting).
