The NGO Carrefour Jeunesse Afrique located in the city of Comè in Benin works for the development of youth.
Through its program of activities, it offers a better equality of opportunities through prevention and emancipation actions and notably a program that integrates a set of artistic disciplines (rap, storytelling, theater, dance and music).
The present project consists in setting up a choir of about one hundred people composed mainly of children from Comè and about twenty adult voices. Special attention is given to the most vulnerable children who do not have the opportunity to participate in this type of project. The choir is organized by and under the responsibility of CJA. It meets once or twice a week for two hours under the direction of students of the late musician and choir director Felix Nassi.
