What is it about?

Support for research in leukemia managed by UZ Leuven.

The Fund Michaël Van Waeyenberge was founded in 2001 in memory of Michaël who died just before his 18th birthday after a courageous battle against leukemia. The Fund's objective is to fight the blood disease and to provide psychological, social and financial support to young patients with blood disease in Belgium. In particular, the Fund wants to support initiatives that show a sense of creativity and innovation and that can therefore play a pioneer role.
