What is it about?
The Marie-Françoise Champion Fund's objective is to conserve biodiversity and protect endangered species worldwide. It primarily supports World Wildlife Fund (WWF) projects to protect large cetaceans, polar bears, African elephants and tigers.
Continuation of activities to protect the Irrawaddy dolphin, by WWF in close cooperation with the fishing communities and provincial authorities in Southeast Asia.
Addressing law enforcement & environmental outreach to reduce illegal activities and stabilize the dolphin and local fish populations and also benefit Mekong communities.
