Sahayog society for participatory rural development

Ten Learning and Awareness Centers in the Hamirpur district of Uttar Pradesh will be supported to offer educational support for girls from 10-19 years old.  

Apart from mainstream subjects, girls will also be oriented on several issues including gender-based discrimination, gender-based violence, the importance of girls' education, puberty, body shaming, early and forced marriage, menstrual hygiene, and SRHR issues and mobility.

 Girls, their parents and boys will be contacted through home visits and convinced to attend these remedial classes organised at the Learning and Awareness centers.
