The Stanley/Stella Fund - for a Better World was established in 2020 with the overall objective of improving the Stanley/Stella textile production chain, to make it more respectful of people and the planet.
This objective can be broken down into a number of projects, including for example:
Ensuring decent living conditions for the workers in the factories with which Stanley/Stella works, in Bangladesh or in other future production countries.
Improving the quality and living conditions of organic cotton farmers in India (or elsewhere) and their families.
The Fund also plans to encourage the conversion of farmers who practice conventional cotton growing (involving the use of large quantities of chemicals that are toxic to humans and the environment) to organic cotton growing.
The Fund may support or initiate other projects, provided they are sustainable and, if possible, linked to the countries of supply of the company, aimed at reducing the environmental footprint of textile activities.
