€ 295,350Since 2002, MSF has been running an AIDS programme in Kinshasa, DRC. This project remains vital for the populations concerned, who are the most vulnerable, in a region where the humanitarian and health situation is among the most difficult in the world. The quality of care and the training of medical staff in the treatment of advanced HIV are combined with a decentralised approach that enables the project to reach populations that have hitherto been largely excluded from care programmes.
The conflict in Sudan has claimed many victims, left many injured and displaced millions of people. MSF provides emergency medical aid in 10 states. Emergency relief and surgical care in Khartoum, mobile clinics and distribution of relief supplies in Wad Madani, water and sanitation activities in Port Sudan. Our teams are also helping displaced people who have taken refuge in neighbouring countries.
