Brussels Airport Fund - Call 2025
Support for sustainability projects from local communities that aim to strengthen the connection between the residents and their surroundings
What is it about?
Does your association or neighbourhood committee have an idea that fosters local togetherness and sustainability, linked to nature, the environment, energy, or mobility? Does your initiative create connections between neighbors and their natural living environment near Brussels Airport? If so, this call for projects is here to help you bring your idea to life!
The Brussels Airport Fund is launching a new call for projects to support initiatives that embrace a dynamic and committed vision for a more sustainable, inclusive and supportive future. Through shared spaces, community gardens, and initiatives focused on nature, mobility, and energy, the fund aims to strengthen connections between residents and their natural surroundings within local communities.
Whether it’s transforming an urban space into a biodiversity haven, teaching young people how to repair bicycles or rethinking water and resource management, the winners of previous editions all shared the desire to create more harmonious living spaces that connect people with their environment. By encouraging intergenerational encounters, knowledge exchange and experimentation with sustainable practices, their projects demonstrate how collective impact can be powerful when innovation, collaboration and respect for the environment are at the heart of the action.
Would you like to bring your local, participatory project to life for a more sustainable environment, mobility, and energy? The Brussels Airport Fund can grant you between €1,000 and €10,000 to help make it happen.
