What is it about?
The Audrey Jacobs Foundation, based in Switzerland, was established in memory of Audrey Jacobs, a 21 year old medical student, who died on 29th August 2010 in Kathmandu, Nepal, where she was volunteering in a hospital during her summer holidays. The Foundation aims to participate actively in humanitarian, educational and medical projects in Nepal. It mainly partners with local NGOs or non-profit organisations, either already established or that have been founded as a result of joint initiatives. The Audrey Jacobs Foundation is a non-profit organization with no political or religious affiliation which has charitable status. Donations go entirely to the different projects in Nepal.
The Audrey Jacobs Fund aims to support humanitarian, educational and medical projects in Nepal chosen by and/or initiated by the Audrey Jacobs Foundation.
