Marie-Thérèse Leboutte (Fund)

Support medical research in Belgium, contribute to the education of girls in countries where this is problematic, and contribute to emergency humanitarian aid.

What is it about?

The Marie-Thérèse Leboutte Fund has the following three objectives

-         to support medical research in Belgium and, in particular, research conducted at Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc,

-         to facilitate the education of girls in countries where this is endangered or made difficult

-         to contribute to emergency humanitarian aid.

Research scholarship for Dr Maxime Foguenne, assistant doctor/MACCS in surgery.

Clinical research project (1 year FT) on the influence of ischemia-reperfusion lesions on the recurrence of hepatocellular cancer post liver transplantation.

Centre Artisanal Magone-Salésiens Don Bosco

Care and professional training for girls suffering from family breakdown, Lubumbashi, DRC.

Accommodation for neglected girls in a secure transit house (Centre Magone) and ensuring their education, training and psychological support to assure them of a better future.
