What is it about?

The Fund was created on the initiative of philanthropic friends. They use their own network and the that of the asbl Kazerne Dossin to collect donations. The funds collected are used to financially support various projects of the organization.

Based on the study and documentation of the persecution of Jews and Gypsies and other systematic violations of human rights in Belgium during World War II, the non-profit organization Kazerne Dossin wants to develop a memorial, a museum with an educational service and a documentation center on the Holocaust and human rights in Mechelen. Kazerne Dossin is there to contribute to the study and reflection on the mechanisms of exclusion, intolerance and racism in society and to the strengthening of our democracy.
