Helping the children of Gol de Letra (learning, living together, sharing knowledge) to integrate (self-)respect through sport and contribute to their social orientation.

The Jogo Aberto na Vila programme offers children and adolescents in the Vila Albertina neighbourhood of Sao Paolo (Brazil) supervised sports activities aimed at developing a sporting culture. It involves 800 children every year, and a wide range of sports offered (athletics, basketball, capoeira, physical education, futsal, handball, judo, skate, spikeball, tennis, table tennis and volleyball).

Gol de Letra's educational approach (learn, live together and disclose) offers participants a structured learning of one or more sports, integrating the importance of self-respect and respect for others (knowing how to live together in our differences and complementarities), and the importance of transmitting the knowledge and attitudes learned on the field to their families and the community. We offer a permanent reception and social orientation service for children, families and residents in vulnerable situations.
