The Good Wave
The Good Wave is a network for effective climate action.
What is it about?
These are turbulent times. Science agrees: we cannot continue to live the way we do now. The good news: 83% of the Belgian population knows and feels that change is needed. About 2/3 of Belgians wish to fundamentally change the way she/he lives today.
To sum up: we know we have to change. We feel we have to change. We say we want to change. But in practice, this is far from easy.
More and more organisations are trying to tackle this climate paradox through actions and initiatives. They organise actions around food waste, sustainable mobility, energy consumption, etc.
But that is not easy: working on behavioural change requires specific knowledge and experience.
Fortunately, there are interesting scientific insights that help with this (especially from the human and social sciences) and there are already many fascinating practices in the field.
The Good Wave wants to make that inspiration accessible, comprehensible and applicable.
To this end, it organises networking activities, free Learning Labs, thematic sessions (Wave Maker Sessions) and an exciting toolbox.
