EYE CARE CONGO Bouw oogziekenhuis in Kananga
2021
DR CONGO (DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO)
Build a specialised eye clinic (Eye Care Congo) in Kananga (Central Kasai) to reach 5 million patients and prevent unnecessary blindness.

Support
€ 16,000Between 2009 and 2019, Light for the World helped build four specialised eye hospitals, spread across three provinces in southern DR Congo.
In order to reach more eye patients and fight unnecessary blindness, Light for the World, together with a Congolese partner, wants to start up a new eye hospital in Kananga in Central Kasai. An absolute necessity, since a functioning eye hospital or eye department is non-existent in this province of more than 5 million inhabitants.
With the support of the Marcel and Jeannine Verschaeve-Louage Fund, the Chantal Schaeck Yolande Fund and the Simon-Quenon Fund.
