Corporacion Proyectarte

The non-profit organization Proyectarte provides psychosocial support through art to 700 young people who find themselves in situations of violence, poverty and violation of their rights (young people from vulnerable neighborhoods in Medellín and rural areas of the department of Antioquia and young people who were part of the Colombian armed conflict in the FARC lines).

The goal of the various Proyectarte projects is for participants to improve their relationships with themselves and others, overcome the after-effects of violence in their lives, and build an ethical life project.

The "Paths of Opportunity" project supports the young people of the different Proyectarte projects in defining and implementing a vocational training path, listens to their future aspirations and puts them in touch with all the opportunities that the territory offers in terms of scholarships and free or economic studies. Within the framework of this project, alliances and agreements with training centers and universities will be further established to obtain favorable conditions for the access of young people to their program.
