The Venture Philanthropy Fund. Impact Report 2016
Presentation of organizations supported by the Venture Philanthropy Fund, with testimonies from managers and their consultants.
What is it about?
The King Baudouin Foundation launched the Venture Philanthropy Fund back in 2009 as part of a drive to diversify and modernise its philanthropic tools. Now more than ever, the Venture Philanthropy Fund is committed to ensuring that the funds entrusted to us deliver maximum impact. The Fund’s aim is to foster a long-term dynamic and contribute to a process of strengthening associations’ capacities, thereby offering them sustainable support. This enables them to structurally consolidate their organization, such as by developing a suitable economic model that safeguards their long-term future. The impact report 2016 showcase the 40 organizations supported by the Venture Philanthropy Fund, revealing how the approach is applied in practice. It details the outcomes achieved and includes interviews with the organizations’ managers. Finally, we are delighted about our ever-deepening partnership with BNP Paribas Fortis. It has substantially increased the amount of funding available to us, allowing us to support more organizations.
