What is it about?

The Solvay Solidarity Fund supports Group employees around the world who are heavily impacted by the Covid crisis in terms of their health, their children's education or the limitation or disappearance of their social security coverage. It also supports health and social organizations that take care of these people.

Support is also provided to charitable and research organizations involved in the Covid crisis.

An independent Management Committee manages the Fund and decides on the support to be granted.

The Fund was made possible by a great movement of solidarity from shareholders, managers and employees towards the group's employees who were severely affected by the pandemic. The Fund can also intervene in the event of any other natural or humanitarian disaster.
