The Fund was created on the initiative of philanthropic friends. They use their own network and that of the asbl Solid to collect donations. The funds collected are used to financially support various projects of the organization.
Solid aims to improve the living conditions of disadvantaged or vulnerable groups of people and to set up projects supporting health care, the environment, animal welfare or emergency care.
Solid believes that empowering people is the key to the route out of poverty and poor living conditions.
