Support talent development worldwide, by giving young people in difficult social or financial circumstances the opportunity to continue their education or training.

Zahra & Koen set up the BRIGHT Fund to help people from all over the world by giving them more options in life through support for their studies. They want to offer a bridge for people who wish to learn or develop a skill, but may not be able to because of lack of financial or other resources.
The Fund is not limited to funding university students alone. It also intends support elementary or high school students, and initiatives in culture, art, music, dance, creative skills etc., all in respectful diversity.
While travelling, Zahra and Koen gather first-hand information on the projects they want to support.
At present, the Fund supports two students in Ayacucho, Peru to pursue their higher education and the building of a dormitory next to Otjovanatje primary school in Ruacana, Namibia to accommodate pupils so they won’t have to face the daily 10-20 km walk to school.
