Projet mené par Gaëlle Varkas : I will investigate which patient profiles with new onset IBD are at higher risk for the development of respectively IBD or SpA. In the light of evolving, on occasion more selective, therapeutic agents, this question is more relevant than ever in our quest for patient-tailored therapy. Identifying patient characteristics at diagnosis of IBD with a higher risk for development of respectively SpA or IBD would reduce evitable morbidity and unnecessary therapy cycling in these patients.
