Projet d'Aurélie Crabbé soutenu par le Fonds A & J Forton et muco.be : 'Novel treatments against infections by Pseudomonas aeruginosa are needed for people with CF (pwCF). We believe that the lungs of pwCF contain beneficial bacteria with antimicrobial or antibiotic-potentiating properties. We propose to identify antimicrobial/antibiotic-potentiating bacteria and their effector molecules that are active in relevant models. This project may lead to novel antimicrobial approaches with potential to significantly improve the life expectancy and quality of life for pwCF'
