What is it about?

Fund Windvision is a philanthropic fund created on the initiative of Windvision, a developer of onshore wind and solar farms.

Its objective is to contribute to sustainable development by supporting Belgian or French philanthropic projects working for

- the protection of the environment: biodiversity, forests, agriculture, soil and water) ;

and/or

- the development of social bonds: energy poverty, social cohesion, joint initiatives in favour of the energy transition.

How are the projects selected?

A management committee, independent of the Windvision company selects the projects (on proposal of an independent Jury) to be financed. It is composed of external experts in environmental and social matters, representatives of the King Baudouin Foundation and a representative of Windvision.

The Foundation has a right of veto, thus guaranteeing complete objectivity in the choice of projects selected.

Which projects are eligible?

The projects that can benefit from the support of the fund must be located in France or in Belgium. They will be evaluated on the basis of positive impact and interest they represent for civil society and its environment.
