Support for innovative research towards better quality of life of older people with a neurodegenerative brain disease
What is it about?
Support to scientific research into neurodegenerative diseases of the brain such as Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease.
More specifically, support to research projects that explore and develop an innovative, non-pharmacological approach to the functional, clinical and/or psychosocial problems facing older people with a neurodegenerative brain disease, and that contribute towards a better treatment and care.
The Funds Malou Malou, Perano, Georgette Paulus, JMJS Breugelmans and Gabrielle, François & Christian De Mesmaeker, Jules Delière, Martha & Louise and Agnès & Pierre Bernard are jointly launching this call to support scientific research into neurodegenerative diseases of the brain such as Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease.
Who is it for?
Researchers or research teams in Belgium working in academic center, university or research center, and health professionals whose activities are centered on care for older people with degenerative disease of the brain. The project is initiated and coordinated in Belgium. All candidates must be explicitly supported by a head of department or by a confirmed researcher
