Support for projects of Belgian organizations working in countries in the southern hemisphere to improve access to water.
What is it about?
The Elisabeth and Amélie Fund supports initiatives of Belgian organizations active in Africa, Latin America and Asia, which work with a local partner to improve access to water in a sustainable way.
The specific objective of the 2023 call is to provide access to water in primary health care centers.
Access to sufficient safe water, basic sanitation and hygiene is an absolute necessity to maintain the health of a community and contribute to its economic development.
Water being a common good, it must be managed equitably. There must be a concerted approach between all stakeholders.
In the current context of climate change, it is essential to emphasize water conservation while adapting to local specificities and context.
Who is it for?
Any Belgian organisation that works with local partners and involves them in every phase of the project
