The King Baudouin Foundation aims to stimulate innovation in the educational sector, whether this is in the use of new technologies, teaching practices, or the inclusion of children with special needs. And since quality teaching begins with teachers who are committed and motivated, the Foundation contributes to improving the attractiveness of careers in teaching.
Our activities
- the development of innovative practice that deal with the challenges of the educational system via veranderwijs.nu
- encourage use of the Sterk Schoolbestuur tool (Strong School Management), through which schools can evaluate their management and governance skills.
- Giving third-grade secondary students a taste of the teaching profession. Empowering teachers in their role as proud ambassadors. This through the Talent for Teaching project.

9 additional classes on the Tongelsbos campus for students studying animal care or ecological engineering.
Aalst - vzw Basisschool en Humaniora DvM (Project Account)
The goal of the project is to admit 100 additional students to the school, and to do so they want to build 5 additional co-teaching classes and a terrace for outdoor classes.
