Call for Fundamental Research on Battery Technologies
Support for fundamental research projects focusing on batteries with a particular focus on storing and releasing clean energy produced from renewable sources.
What is it about?
The Lomake Fund was created to support fundamental research in the field of climate related technologies.
The Fund is launching a first call for fundamental research projects, stages 1 and 2, focusing on batteries with a particular focus on new phenomenon for storing and releasing mass quantities of clean energy produced from renewable sources to make such renewable energy as on demand as a natural gas powered energy plant is.
Subject of this call
This first call for research projects launched by the Lomake Fund focuses on innovative research on organic / inorganic battery technologies which solve several problems of the current Li-ion technology, specifically dependance on rare metals, recyclability, capacity / volume and voltage.
Through this call, the Fund aims to support a research team or a consortium of research centers in
Europe or North America with a breakthrough approach enabling a potential quantum leap in batteries.
